primitive campsite at head of Tutka lagoon, trail to Jakolof, lagoon is very busy during salmon season. This is not located accurately on the map.
Located at upper end of Tutka Bay Lagoon. Great view of the lagoon. Latrine, tent site, and entry to Jakalof/Tutka Trailhead. Fire pit, trailhead sign. No evident water. Difficult entry into lagoon is best accomplished one hour before or after high tide, otherwise accessing site is tricky.
Access Difficulty:
narrow entrance, strong currents on in-coming and out-going tides
Hazards:
Only approach an hour before and after high tide.
